Samosa Roll – Making a Authentic Samosa Look Different

Ingredients :
- Flour – 1 cup
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Ajwain – 1 tsp
- Kalonji – 1 tsp
- Salt – ½ tsp
- Water as required
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Jeera & rai – 1 tsp
- Green chillies – 2/3
- Haldi – ¼ tsp
- Boiled mashed potatoes – 3
- Boiled peas – ¼ cup
- Salt to taste
- Red chilly powder – ½ tsp
- Haldi – ¼ tsp
- Amchur powder – ½ tsp
- Garam masala – ½ tsp
- Kasuri methi – ½ tsp
- Oil
Process of Making Samosa Roll:
- Take a bowl, add flour, oil, ajwain, kalonji, salt and water to make a dough.
- Make a stiff dough.
- Keep the dough for around 10-15 minutes.
- Now take a pan on low flame and add oil, rai & jeera, and haldi to it.
- Now add mashed potatoes and peas to it.
- Now add rest of the masala to it.
- Stir it on low flame for around 2-5 minutes.
- Take out the masala on a bowl and let it cool down.
- Now make cylindrical shape.
- Now take the dough and shape it in dough balls, cot it with dry flour, flatten it with rolling pin keeping it little bit thin.
- Now place the masala on the roti and cut the edges.
- Roll the masala on the roti.
- Deep fry the rolls in hot oil on medium high flame until crisp and brown in color.
- Your samosa rolls is ready to serve.
- Serve it with mint chutney or ketchup.
